Debbie Popkin Rudoy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, geriatric care coordinator and practicing therapist in Pittsburgh, PA. She earned a Master’s in Social Work, Certificate in Gerontology and Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. She received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Penn State University.
Debbie specializes in helping older adults and their caregivers/care partners navigate aging challenges. Her clinical assessment skills, compassion and knowledge of resources for older adults inform her work with clients. She focuses on active listening, solving problems and nurturing positivity. Debbie’s approach to therapy is practical and collaborative, built on a foundation of respect and empathy.

Debbie’s professional experience includes continuing care retirement communities, home health, palliative care, outpatient counseling and Parkinson’s disease research and outreach. She has been personally impacted by the challenges of caregiving and grief/loss which led her to focus on supporting others. Debbie is a certified instructor of the Ageless Wisdom Seminar and the UCLA Longevity Center Memory Training Program.
In her free time, she enjoys family and friends, reading, gardening and taking long walks.
